PAX Unplugged is Going to be Huge!
You will not believe who is going to be at PAX Unplugged this year. If you haven’t heard of PAX Unplugged, it’s the inaugural PAX convention focused solely on our favorite hobby – tabletop gaming! We’ve lamented the shrinking analog section of PAX East over the last few years, and now we see why it’s been happening! PAX Unplugged will feature some of the best board game publishers in the world. In fact, check out the incredible list below. I know! I’m exhausted just looking at it!
We’re not on the list because we’re not exhibitors, but we’ll be there! This is going to be such a blast!
PAX Unplugged 2017, the first tabletop-focused PAX event, will host a stable of prominent exhibitors, including Wizards of the Coast, Paizo, Asmodee, and CMON, among many others. Tickets for the show, taking place November 17-19, 2017 at Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Convention Center, are available now.
Part of Penny Arcade’s international roster of events, PAX Unplugged will reflect the experience millions of PAX attendees have enjoyed for more than a decade, but with a spotlight on card, board and other tabletop games, celebrating the medium’s rich and thriving culture. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the reveal of new and exciting titles, go hands-on with upcoming games, partake in tournaments and sit in on panels headlined by the industry’s leading minds.
“The breadth and depth of the inaugural PAX Unplugged exhibitor roster is a sight to behold,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade. “I want to go to there.”
While PAX Unplugged will cater to the tabletop industry and affiliated communities, a selection of video games featuring board and card game elements will also have a place at the show.
